Do I have to bring my own fishing equipment?

Yes, as per your wish.

What about malaria?

Malaria is under control in Pemba, but yellow card vaccination is mandatory at the airport while visiting Tanzania.

Is there any hospital nearby?

Yes, can reach hospital within 25 minutes’ drive.

Any medicines that we should bring?

You can bring your medicine as prescribed by your doctors.

What should I wear to the villages?

Well-dressed when strolling in the village.

What can I buy in the villages from local people?

I plan on bringing my maid, is there anywhere she can stay?

No special room for the maid however can reserve 1 villa to accommodate them.

Do you have baby sitter available?

Baby sitter available.

Is there anything for children to do?

Playing around and on the beach with assistance.

Is there anything to buy at the resort?

Hotel shop.

What is the tipping policy?

Tipping box available at reception and is distributed to all team members at end of each month.

Can I keep in touch with my family and business?

We have Wi-Fi connection in the public areas and in the room to keep connected to family or business.

Is laundry service available?

Yes laundry services available.

Do you have bugs? Any particular repellant required?

No bugs in our hotel. We got a reliable pest control program. Fogging is done on a weekly basis for mosquitoes control however we encourage our visitors to bring their mosquito repellent as per their habits.

Any particular clothing you suggest?

No restriction on the clothing but nudity not allowed.

Can I have money in Pemba?

Yes, you can change your forex at the reception or at the bank.

What things I could bring to benefit local community?

Stuff such as clothes, books and stationeries. Most important recommending our hotel to others so that the inhabitants in Pemba continue to work and earn a decent living.

Do you have any medical facilities in cases of emergency?

We have a full fledge first aid box at the hotel and a doctor on call in case of emergency.

What is your cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy 30 days’ notice.
